She’s got her face disguised
She’s the lady with the plight
Half herself hid behind the curtain
Every move of hers seems tamed

Never her her eyes staring up
All they carry is pain and hurt
And no, the world she doesn’t show
Her feelings that off away she’s thrown

A hair strand dives up in mid face
Tucks it back her ear, she, with such grace
Those people, yes she hears their shouts
Waiting to be served, cruelty, its what its all about

It aches, her heart, she never showing it off
Those people, never want her to show pain at any cost
She serves, she takes, all the things down in her
No pain, no hurt, Now, no emotions seem to stir in her

She’s got her face disguised well
Even though the insides of her burn like hell
She’s the lady with the plight

Her plight. No nothing she would show
Don’t want the people of this world to know
Where one soul was used and thrown
They turned their backs and off they were gone

As her destiny has she accepted this thing
The cruelty, the pain hurts, images in her eyes sting
Her head bows down, no complains to God
Empty, her head, no feels no thoughts

This way she’s found her peace, this way her life
This lady behind purdah, her face disguised.
