Strangers

He passed by me
overlooking the fact that he knew
I stood there wondering when he’d turn
say hello, greet, what we’d always done
But he passed straight
Disappearing as if into thin air
never the songs we sung he returned
He abandoned me, in all fury and anger
And I’d oft come to the place
just for the old times’ sake
where our friendship grew, unfolded
the only place, where our bond still feels preserved.

  1. why is it that we keep on loving someone despite knowing that the person don’t even respect your emotions?

    • For me, I would say that I cannot help but going back to the people I love despite of the differences that occur between us or whatsoever. But if a limit is crossed, then I would say its time for us to move on.
